Sustainability

At Tarkett, we know that when selecting flooring, health and sustainability are front of mind. That's why we don't just offer beautiful, high-quality, sustainable flooring solutions, we offer complete piece of mind. In our Sustainability CPD, we examine was 'sustainable' means in the context of flooring, the importance of maintenance, and how to utilise third party building labels and some key credentials to assist in the specification of sustainable flooring products.

Infection Control

In our Infection Control CPD, we look at the threat antimicrobial resistance poses and how this is leading to an increase in healthcare associated infections. We detail high versus low risk areas, allowing you to determine what floor finish should be specified. We also look at antimicrobial test methods, and discuss how the misuse of antibiotics and biocides can lead to Antimicrobial Resistance - a major public health threat.

Slip

Our Slip CPD will cover the importance of slip in design, the different test methods and safety flooring performance requirements. You will gain sound knowledge of the National Construction Code regulations and Australian Standards for slip resistance. We also cover some of the common mistakes around where to use safety flooring or smooth surface flooring.
